There's no way out... for vehicle tax evaders

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has the legal power to clamp, tow away or even crush your vehicle if you don’t pay your car tax.

Do it online here

Do it now, tax your vehicle, or make a SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification), online or by phone (0870 850 4444).

If you prefer to tax in the last few days of the month, there is now an exemption from the offence of not displaying a tax disc. This exemption covers the first five working days of the month and allows time for the new disc to arrive in the post.

The exemption only applies if applications are made before the current tax disc or SORN expires.
